I have been so looking forward to going to this HAPA concert! I've purchased tickets for the hubby and I to go. It's in Corvallis on March 5 and I just can't wait!
On a sad note, Aunty Genoa Keawe died yesterday. Her falsetto singing has inspired thousands of Hawaii recording artists. She was 89. I have got to purchase some of her CDs before they are all gone! She was a true Hawaiian. The newspaper reports said she died of breast cancer, and she had decided not to do chemo. Although quite ill, she STILL was singing to the staff at the hospital where she eventually passed.
