Oh how I need a massage!

I was a foolish mortal on Sunday and lifted the kid so she could see what was happening in church. Well, there's this thing about lifting correctly and incorrectly. Guess which one I did? So I strained my wonderful shoulder muscle, the one and only one that practically makes me want to just chop off that quadrant of my body. It is feeling better today but I have to constantly remind myself that I'm no spring chicken. Damn it -- I'm falling apart and not even 40 yet!!! I have to book that monthly massages again. Yeah, I skipped 'em -- I haven't gone for at least a year. I NEED them. So I have to call and make an appointment ASAP.

I am trying to be more motivated to do some LOs (layouts) and just haven't been very inspired lately. By the time I get home and do all the menial tasks, I'm dead tired and don't even want to pick up any paper or photos. But I've got to get back into the groove again. So with that frame of mind, here's my question to you: "What do you do when you are bored, not feeling creative and needing a boost?" Maybe you can help me get out of my "rut"!! LOL!

The kid has been doing the most cutest things lately. Recently she picked up a drumstick from her drum set and burst into song. "Jesus take the wheel......" I got the blackmail material - both digital photo and film! I need to expand her repertoire and get a different artist. Carrie Underwood is getting old real fast -- especially if you need to hear it over, and over, and over.....

Well, gotta climb into bed. I'm beat. Will write more later!

No wonder you're beat! What are you doing writing at almost midnight? Silly girl... Sorry if I seemed startled today when I answered the door. I was in the back room and didn't even realize anyone was at the door. No worries on running late - I myself had a hectic, crazy morning. I was finishing up some stuff on the phone when you swung by. Thank GOD tomorrow is Friday! Anyhoo - in answer to your question about being in a rut and getting inspiration, my answer is Pottery Barn. I love to peruse Pottery Barn catalogs so I can rip off ideas. It gives me perverse pleasure when I'm ablt to create the same look for pennies on the dollar. Although I haven't applied this to actual scrapbooking, I do know that I get a lot of color palettes and theme ideas from Pottery Barn catalogs.
