It's finally Spring!

We took a few photos of Emma during one of our sun breaks in our wacky winter/spring-like weather. It's been awhile since I posted any photos, so I thought I'd share them with you. I can't believe she'll be 4 in June!

Emma's ride.

The Easter Egg hunt about a month ago.

A photo we took after church one Sunday.

Here are my poor tulips and my strawberry plants when we had our freak snowfall in the middle of April!
I am so ready to go outside and start planting my veggie garden. It has been the longest winter we've endured (this is our 6th). I talked to a few long-time Albany residents and they agreed! So I'm NOT completely crazy.

My sister-in-law Trish, her husband Eli and kids Keana (teenager) and Elijah (2) will be here in 3 weeks! I am freaking out as I have to still get that spare bedroom up to guest bedroom material. Where's Martha Stewart when you need her? We are trying to figure out when Harry and I can go to IKEA in Portland to pick up the bed we wanted to get. His schedule has been changing from week to week and I can barely keep up with it.

Emma is at home again today, day 2 of being sick. She had temps in the 99 degree range since last Thursday and then it progressed to 100. Now it seems she's got some bug that I think she's sharing with me. I don't feel sick.....just tired. Her? Huh....still doing the normal toddler stuff. It's not even affecting her. We've got a dr appointment in a few hours, and I'm sure they'll tell me she just has a virus. I had to stay home from work today and I'm hoping she'll feel better by Thursday. I worked 10 hours at work yesterday since I had to come home for a bit so hubby could go to his dentist appt.

Well, I'll be in the spare bedroom shoveling stuff out if anyone needs me....sigh....!

Hey, you!
We have to make another trip down to Albany in a week or two. If you need /want us to pick up the bed and bring it to you, I'd be more than happy to do that. Although I bet you want to come up to Ikea and roam - I could waste an entire day in that place!!!
