Not feeling very creative lately!

Very rarely do I get this way, but I'm in a creative slump! I've tried looking at magazines for ideas, surfing the web, but just not feeling very motivated or creative.

Which is a BAD thing as I've got a craft fair coming up the second week of November and I don't even have enough stuff to sell yet. Sigh.

The preschooler is having withdrawal symptoms. We have been dropping her off in the mornings and she does the kung fu grip on Harry and won't let go. The teachers have to practically pry her off of him or try to distract her in order for him to escape. She seems quite happy when I pick her up in the afternoons, so maybe it's just a phase. It's only been a month. I think the fact that she only goes two days a week might factor into the "I miss you" phase. Sigh..the honeymoon is over.

Not getting any housework done at all. Thank God I have a husband who doesn't mind cleaning. He's vacuumed and mopped my kitchen this week and did all 3 bathrooms. What a guy. I keeping him!

We celebrated our 11th anniversary yesterday. Went to this cool French restaurant called LeBistro. Loved it! I'm usually not keen on too much butter and cream sauces, but heck, a girl's gotta live a little once in a while. I told Harry I hope he doesn't need to go in for his cholesterol test anytime soon! Delicious and yummy food -- we'll be back again someday. The best part was having HOT food brought to us (usually it's one of us who has cold food due to the toddler's eating issues). It's not that she doesn't eat. We're just constantly interrupted during mealtime that we both never eat hot food.

Got a seminar scheduled in Portland next Saturday and so looking forward to some creative down time. I think it's because work has been so busy that it's just not allowing me to have any 'free' play time. I'm even bringing work home because it's just impossible to keep up with everything.

Okay, enough whining. Off I go to try and "create" some Christmas mini scrapbooks.

Later!

Hey, Jo Ann!
Let me know when/where the craft fair is. I think I'm gonna check more of those out this year. Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful creations you come up with!

Hey Girlie,

It is Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday, Nov. 10 at St. Mary's Church in Albany. Hours on Friday are 10-7:30p and Saturday 9-5:30p.

Still working on those "beautiful creations" although I'm slower than a snail this year.

Take care!
