I took a nice trip to Boise, Idaho this past weekend. I was there for a conference - International Association for Administrative Professionals (IAAP). It was nice to meet people from the district (Idaho, Oregon and Utah) and I really enjoyed networking with everyone.
Not much going on with the art lately. I've been so busy with work and life in general. I'm aching to start up again. I did get to stop in at two scrapbook stores -- one called Paper Cottage and another a chain called Archiver's. I heard from the salesclerk that they are opening one in Portland in the next year or so.
Boise is a nice town (200,000 pop.) not too hard to get around in. I enjoyed the landscape which is so different from Oregon. I wish I had more time to explore the town. We passed through Nampa which was a smaller town (65,000 pop.) The drive there was fun -- 8 hours or so but such beautiful landscape.
I came home and my DVR is filled with tons of programs to watch. I have not been able to view much since I returned on Sunday.
Anyway, this entry is going to be short. I forgot to take my Zyrtec for my allergies and I am paying dearly for it!
Laters!
