I'm Back!

Yeah, so don't give me heat...I haven't posted an entry in a long time. Cut me some slack, I've been busy!

The month of February whizzed past me as Harry had some emergency surgery done and was home for 3 weeks recuperating. So I played nurse for a bit and still went to work -- whew, glad that's all over. He's back at work.

March quickly arrived and birthdays were celebrated (mine and Sheena's 21st!) and Mom & Dad's anniversary came and went and I didn't even get to send a card! Got called on for jury duty. Then got to go to the Creating Keepsakes scrapbook convention that was in Portland (took tons of classes and some neat things to share!). Next thing you know we had out of town guests for 10 days. My sister-in-law Trish, her hubby Eli and keiki 18 month old Elijah and 11 year old Keana. We were traveling non-stop, lots of shopping and sight seeing. Played in snow one day and was out to the coast the next! All in all, a great time was had but then I felt like I really needed a few days to just recuperate, but no --- back to work for me!

My co-worker left for another job this week. I am quite sad as she was a lot of fun to be around and I'll miss my lunch buddy! Now she works in a different town. She promised we'd have lunch at least once a month. Lucky girl works just 3 blocks from her house!

We've been looking again for a bigger house. Well, maybe I should clarify that and say I've been looking for a bigger house. I always think that we should keep our eyes open for the right house to come along. We are outgrowing our current house! I think if we had a 4th bedroom and a family room, we'd be set for awhile. I KNEW I should have bought a bigger house to begin with! LOL!

Okay, now for a scrapbook challenge! What colors seem to creep into your pages? Is it a color that you absolutely adore? One that you keep turning to time and time again? This week's challenge is to pick a color that you would not normally use. You can use one or two colors, but it should NOT be your favorite color. For example, I LOVE pinks, purples and blues. If you would look at a lot of my pages, they would be in this color scheme. It is so hard for me NOT to use these colors. So think outside the box this week and pick colors that match your photos but don't use your usual color scheme! Post your result if you attempt this challenge!

Stampin' UP! has decided to come out with two catalogs a year instead of one. The main reason is because there is so much product on the market that it makes sense to offer two catalogs instead of one. I love the idea because it just means we get MORE NEW product to offer customers (and ourselves!). This of course means that we will offer a smaller amount of mini catalogs during the year and the Sell-A-Bration sale will occur at a different time of the year.

Weight Watchers! Yeah, there are a few of you out there that are doing the program. You know who you ARE. I've missed two meetings this month and I'm sure I've gained 10 pounds since my last weigh in (give me a break -- I was on vacation and had guests bring me goodies from Hawaii -- how can ONE refuse?!). So once again, here I go back to the meetings this coming week. I PRAY that I have not gained 10 pounds...! Sigh.
