Busily Creating and Challenge of the Week

One more week before my craft fair and I'm working like a madwoman! Every year I say I'll start earlier but I never really do! Lots of cute scrapbook gifts this year more than the usual Christmas cards and tags that I do. I think customers will ooh and ahh over them and hopefully purchase them for gifts! It will be fun to see what people's reactions will be. I'll have to check in and see what my friend is up to and how she's coming along with her creations!

November is here already! We have been lucky to have fall weather with practically no rain for the past 2 weeks now. Those chilly mornings make me want to lay in bed all morning (except for when I smell the coffee grinding and brewing). What is your favorite fall activity? For me, baking starts up real soon. I start perusing the cookbooks trying to decide what kinds/types of cookies I'm baking this year to give out as gifts. I love cookies -- I like to bake them -- the aroma drives me wild. But for some reason, I can only eat one or two of them (thank god, can you imagine my waistline if I ate all of them?). I also start settling in and scrapbooking more often as it gets colder. This week's topic is about organization. Do you know what you have in your stash? Do you know what items you've run out of? If you're like me, I end up purchasing much more than I need and then also buy duplicates in the process. (Don't tell my husband that I haven't even unpacked the packages I brought back from Boise, ID in May!). I just realized the other day that I need to get a handle on what I have and try to use that stuff up before I purchase any more! So how do you get organized? Do you clean up one section first or do you just go gangbusters? Or maybe you don't have a messy space! What helps keep your supplies handy? For me I have all my tools hanging on my pegboard. However, all the horizontal space (table!) is loaded with stuff. Sigh. I have to clean up just to scrapbook in my space. So overwhelming is the task that I've taken over the kitchen table temporarily (NOT). I swear to myself that I have to get things organized there before the Christmas rush. So post any advice you have here about organization. Maybe you are still lucky to have all of your stuff in one clear box! LOL!

Have you seen our new Stampin' UP! wrapping paper? To die for. I am thinking of hosting a wrapping party. I thought how cool would it be to have everyone over (especially us with kids) and trade wrapping papers/ribbons so we all have differently wrapped gifts? People could wrap their gifts up and we could have so much fun doing it. I'm also arranging to host a Christmas card making at my house as well. But first I must get through the craft fair! Gulp.

Take care and have a great week!

PS....my hubby is getting closer to getting his "man room" completed. We finally sold the bunk beds and now will look for a sleeper sofa type bed so that we'll still have room for guests. We do have our eye on one of them from IKEA! I can't believe how much space we have now without those bulky bunk beds!
