The new Stampin' UP! catty is here!

The new catalog is here and there are some really cool stuff that Stampin' UP! has released! You can check out on my website here. At the menu on the top of the page, click on Stampin' UP! products and then catalog. The best part is now the catalog comes in a PDF and you can print what you want when you want it! For those who want an old fashioned color printed catalog, they are $9.95 plus shipping (if you live anywhere besides Oregon, I ship priority mail). If you host a workshop, then you receive it FREE -- just call me to book your workshop.

I think I'm a little weird as the first thing I look for in the catalog is the accessories! After 12 years of being a demo, I have changed on the way I peruse the catty. I flip all the way to the back and ooh and ahh over the new papers, ribbons and other accessories. Okay, besides the stamp sets, here is a list of my faves...
  • 19 brand spankin' new patterned papers in some of the coolest patterns and colors.
  • 10 new Simply Scrappin' scrapbook kits.
  • 3 new Simply Sent card elements (these have cardstock, adhesive die cuts and patterned papers all in one kit for cards). This is a new line.
  • Clips, brads, eyelets and two new Hodgepodge Hardware sets in silver and vanilla.
  • Some sweet lookin' ribbon and designer buttons.
  • Chipboard and rub-ons (small ones for scrapbooking and our Decor Elements for walls)!
  • Stampin' UP!'s version of the Sizzix Big Shot, the die cutting machine and exclusive dies that only we will carry.
  • The new stamps that have been released in this catalog are now die cut! That means no trimming for you, but you'll still have to assemble them (which is easy as pie).
There is also a new In Color line. This line features the latest trend in color. The new colors are called Pacific Point (royal blue) Baja Breeze (aqua), Kiwi Kiss (lime green), Riding Hood Red (a deep red), Pink Pirouette (a light pink), and Tangerine Tango (brighter orange). Available in the line are ink pads and refills, cardstock in both 12x12 (smooth and textured), and 8 1/2 x 11 sizes and striped ribbon and designer patterned paper.

Stampin' UP! is celebrating it's 20th year, and with that comes a few exciting changes. One exciting feature that will be released in the fall is that we will offer on-line ordering! Finally, you can have access to ordering 24/7. One tip that you'll have to remember is to find me on the demonstrator locater before you place the order so you can have the catalog price. If you forget, you will be charged a slightly higher price than what is in the catalog. The reasoning behind this is that we want you to still be able to access your demo who can handle any questions you may have and teach you how to use your products in innovative ways. It's exciting, nonetheless! As we go live, I will post a note here so that I can review the ordering procedure with you. Stampin' UP! still requires its demos to still do in-home workshops, so even though you might order things on-line, we will always be willing to do workshops at your home (or mine!). So you won't be losing anything; just gaining an additional service!

Also, we are accepting debit and credit cards at either your workshop, a class, and through on-line ordering. So now you have options besides your checkbook and cold hard cash. We've been accepting credit cards for a few months now and it is so much easier for you to place orders for you, the customer and me, the demo!

Ah...the sun is finally coming out. We are heading out to pick peaches today as the rain has passed (hopefully) and things start drying out. I am hoping to make some peach and blueberry pie or cobbler. It has been a few wacky days of winter-like weather while temps hung in the low 60's! It has been the strangest August ever. The State fair also begins this weekend through Labor Day, so hopefully we'll get to go and check it out. The last time we went was 2 years ago.

I am hoping to come back later and play with the new In Color items that I ordered and put together my brand new stamps!
