New Stampin' UP! catty

I am so excited to get this new Fall/Winter catty in my hot little hands. I've already had requests from 2 people for the catalog and they are just as excited as I am. All that new product just waiting to arrive at my doorstep! I've already ordered the brand new InColor inks and papers and have been trying to find the time to rip open the wrappings and play with them. Ha! They've been sitting on my desk for a good 2 weeks now. I could be playing with them instead of blogging, but I chose to blog -- yeah after a whole month of not posting anything, I'll be surprised if anyone still visits! So many stamps, so little time!

I returned from my Hawaii vacation (I went for my 20th HS reunion) and seemed to be thrown back into the real world with warp speed. How is it that you go away for five days and end up with so much stuff to do when you get back? I am only now catching my breath. The entire month of July has passed me by. It's time to start preparing for the big event.

What big event? The kid (Emma) is going to preschool in September (if I can get her totally potty trained by then!). I debated back and forth on where to send her, how often, what preschool....do you know how many different ones there are and the cost ranges involved? Sigh. I finally decided I'm going to send her to South Albany Child Development Center. I've got the paperwork all done; just got to have the hubby sign off on it and write the check! Emma will be at preschool full day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We're going to try the 2 day a week thing and see how it works.

Emma finally got her first haircut. She looks so grown up. I'll have to post the photo when I get a chance. Through the entire haircut, she looked nervous and chanted "Mama?" every 2 seconds. But she stood really still and was looking forward to a Hershey's kiss that she kept eyeing up on the hairdresser's counter. I am amazed at how chocolate can make a kid sit that still for a haircut. That in itself is a miracle!

Anyway, maybe I'll post more tomorrow, gotta get a nap in!

Take care!
